We figure out the right questions to ask about our product, how to efficiently answer them, and make recommendations about what should happen next. We explore how specific product features are performing and help guide products teams in promising directions. We also have significant autonomy to design and conduct research projects about how the Twitch community and product work and help the company think about the big picture.
Good product decisions begin with a deep understanding of user needs. Twitch’s user experience research team provides key insights that guide the product development process from ideation to launch, and conducts strategic generative research that shapes product roadmaps and sparks ideas for new features.
We figure out the best method and approach to answer product questions, deliver actionable results and recommendations to our internal partners, and work closely with viewers and broadcasters to understand their experiences. We offer a qualitative perspective to answer the “whys” and “hows” surrounding user behavior across Twitch. And we help lead a user-centered design process through iterative, evaluative research.
Data is central to Twitch’s decision-making process, and analysts are a critical component to making sure that process works well. We’re looking for an experienced marketing analyst who will define Twitch’s approach to marketing analytics from the ground up. In this role you’ll shape the way marketing performance is measured, define what questions should be asked, and scale marketing analytics to support our growing business. You will own long-term strategic projects on topics such as brand awareness and Twitch’s acquisition funnel. You’ll also take on tactical work to measure the effectiveness of events and product releases, and you’ll help develop self-service reporting tools to support the entire marketing team. We’re seeking an individual who has the vision and follow-through to make marketing analytics best in class at Twitch.
